Logistic Executive (Uni-commerce Software)

The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 2 years of experience in operations, preferably in the logistics industry. Fluency in both Hindi and English is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is essential. Additionally, owning a mobile phone and a 2-wheeler is necessary for this position. You should possess excellent communication skills and be self-motivated with a disciplined work ethic. Key Responsibilities: Shipment Coordination: - Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods by overseeing the entire shipment process. - Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors to arrange shipments and manage schedules for on-time deliveries. - Track and monitor shipments in real-time to promptly resolve any delays or issues. Documentation and Compliance: - Complete all necessary documentation, customs forms, and invoices accurately and promptly. - Stay informed about local regulations and compliance standards pertaining to logistics and cargo. Customer Service & Relationship Management: - Update clients on shipment status and address any concerns or special requirements directly. - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure operational smoothness and high customer satisfaction levels. Process Optimization: - Continuously evaluate operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices. - Proactively resolve potential operational bottlenecks to maintain efficient and cost-effective flow of goods. Problem Resolution: - Address operational challenges like delays, cargo damages, and shipping errors in a timely and customer-friendly manner. - Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of issues. Reporting and Analysis: - Generate regular reports on operational performance, shipment status, and inventory levels for management review. - Analyze operational data to provide insights for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Vendor and Supplier Management: - Manage relationships with transporters, carriers, and service providers, negotiating rates and ensuring SLAs are met. - Monitor vendor and supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed-upon standards and timelines. Team Collaboration: - Engage with cross-functional teams such as sales, customer service, and warehouse staff to align and support operational goals. - Participate in team meetings, contribute improvement suggestions, and share feedback from customers and vendors.
