Legal Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Legal Manager to lead and oversee the legal and compliance functions of our organisation. You will advise senior management on legal matters, ensure the companys operations comply with applicable laws and regulations, manage contractual and regulatory risk, lead legal strategy, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

Required Skills :

• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university; Masters / LLM / postgraduate qualifications (desirable). Expertia+1
  
• Membership in the relevant Bar or appropriate legal accreditation/licence (depending on jurisdiction).
  
• Proven experience (typically 5 + years, adjust based on seniority) in a legal role, preferably in a corporate environment, with exposure to contracts, compliance, litigation and advisory services. Expertia+1
  
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, regulatory/compliance frameworks and business law. huneety.com
  
• Excellent drafting, negotiating and communication skills; ability to advise senior leadership and articulate legal risk in business terms.
  
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, good judgement, ability to prioritise, make decisions under pressure, manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in [industry: e.g., IT services, manufacturing, real estate, fintech, pharmaceuticals] would be an asset.
  
• Knowledge of jurisdictional laws (if operating in multiple states or countries).
  
• Prior management experience (leading a legal/ compliance team).
  
• Exposure to international contracts, cross-border transactions, global regulatory compliance (if relevant).
