Role Overview

Roles and responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal support to business, finance, and operations teams
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial and transactional contracts
• Advise on corporate law matters under the Companies Act, including governance and board processes
• Handle legal aspects of overseas subsidiaries and cross-border transactions
• Advise on

  FEMA and RBI regulations

  , foreign remittances, and inter-company fund flows
• Coordinate RBI filings, approvals, and ongoing overseas compliance
• Manage litigation across High Courts, NCLT/NCLAT, arbitration, and regulatory forums through external counsels
• Handle regulatory notices, inquiries, and investigations
• Support fundraising, strategic transactions, and legal due diligence
• Oversee compliance across technology, data protection, labour, consumer, real estate, and sector-specific laws
• Identify legal risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure preventive compliance
• Maintain legal MIS and centralized repositories
• Coordinate with external law firms, banks, and overseas legal advisors

Candidate Profile

• Law graduate (BA LL.B / LL.B) from a recognized university
• 5-12 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal roles or law firms
• Strong expertise in contract drafting, corporate advisory, and regulatory compliance
• Practical exposure to cross-border transactions and overseas operations
• Working knowledge of

• Experience managing litigation through external counsels
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-growing environment
