Legal Manager

A candidate from Bangalore who will collaborate with the management on real estate transactions, corporate compliances and governance. The candidate shall ensure proper legal due diligence for documentation (that includes execution and drafting), coordinate with external legal counsel and other stakeholders, and represent the company on legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper legal due diligence during land / property acquisition in particular Title investigation & Local legislation.
• Highlight legal issues involved in structuring of land / property acquisition and relevant development regulations.
• Ensure execution and proper drafting (including standardisation) of legal documents such as Title transfer deeds, Agreement of sale, Offer letters, Conveyance documents, Lease Deeds, License Agreements etc.
• Coordinate with and seek legal advice from external legal counsels.
• Represent the company in all the legal matters.
• Keep abreast of and inform management on relevant developments in real estate sector, such as court ruling or legislative amendments.

Skills Required:

• Candidate must possess a law degree and must be well versed with all the legal subject.
• Should have minimum 12 years of progressive experience with significant real estate experience.
• The ideal candidate should have a good presence of mind / right decision /advice in legal situations.
• Relevant candidates residing in Bangalore may only apply.
• Knowledge of Kannada is a must.
