Job Description

Qualification: LLB (prefer corporate )

1. Legal Guidance and Counsel

Provide expert advice on legal rights, obligations, and risks.
Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals or businesses.
Help shape decisions to ensure compliance with the law.

2. Risk Management

Identify potential legal risks and liabilities in contracts, deals, policies, or practices.
Recommend preventive strategies to mitigate those risks.
Ensure company policies and practices comply with local, national, or international laws.

3. Contract Review and Drafting

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Ensure legal protections and minimize liabilities in contracts with vendors, clients, or partners.

4. Regulatory Compliance

Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization.
Ensure the company is in compliance with all applicable laws (e.g., labor, tax, environmental, corporate law).

5. Dispute Resolution

Represent or assist the organization in resolving disputes (litigation, arbitration, mediation).
Work with external counsel when necessary.

6. Corporate Governance

Advise management and board members on their legal duties and responsibilities.
Ensure company policies and actions align with governance standards and legal requirements.

7. Employment and Labor Law

Advise on employee rights, contracts, terminations, workplace safety, and discrimination issues.
Ensure HR policies comply with employment law.

8. Training and Awareness

Conduct training for employees on legal issues such as anti-corruption, harassment, data privacy, etc.
Raise awareness of legal risks and responsibilities across departments.

9. Litigation Support

Prepare documents and evidence for legal proceedings.
Coordinate with external legal teams and monitor ongoing cases.
