Job Description

Job Summary:

The Legal Executive Litigation will manage and support all litigation and property-related legal matters, including title verification, due diligence, drafting notices, coordinating with advocates, and handling compliance under RERA and other applicable laws. The role requires strong knowledge of land records, documentation, and litigation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Litigation & Legal Coordination

  • Assist in preparation and management of litigation cases before courts, tribunals, and authorities.
  • Draft legal notices, replies, complaints, affidavits, written statements, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate with external advocates for hearings, case updates, and legal opinions.
  • Maintain litigation trackers, case files, and hearing schedules.

Property Documentation & Due Diligence

  • Conduct

    title search

    and prepare detailed

    Title Search Reports

  • Verify and interpret

    7/12 extracts, 8A

    , property cards, and other land records.
  • Retrieve and review documents from

    IGR (Inspector General of Registration) portal

    .
  • Perform

    legal due diligence

    and highlight risks associated with land/property documents.
  • Review and draft MOUs, sale agreements, development agreements, and other real estate documents.

Legal Research & Support

  • Conduct research on laws, notifications, judgments, and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare MIS reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Support internal departments on legal queries related to litigation and real estate matters.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred but not mandatory.
  • 15 years of experience in litigation, property matters, or real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of

    land records, IGR, 7/12 extract, due diligence, and RERA documentation

    .
  • Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with advocates, government offices, and internal departments.
