1. Job PurposeThe Lead – Quality (Head of QA, Process Technology & Business Excellence) is responsible for ensuring robust quality management, process optimization, and business excellence at the Beneficiation Plant. The role drives compliance, innovation, and efficiency by implementing strong QA frameworks, optimizing process technologies, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence and strategic business objectives.

3. Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA) Management Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy and framework to meet/exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
Lead and manage the QA team in developing and maintaining quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance with ISO, BIS, and other industry standards.
Process Technology OptimizationEvaluate and implement new process technologies for efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality improvement.
Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Engineering teams for process optimization and innovation.
Monitor and analyze key process parameters; identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective/preventive actions.
Business ExcellenceDesign and lead Business Excellence programs leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM methodologies.
Establish a continuous improvement culture through structured problem-solving and innovation.
Drive high-impact projects for cost savings, productivity gains, and quality enhancement.

Aligning quality initiatives with stakeholder and business expectations.
Driving continuous improvement in a process-intensive, high-demand plant environment.

External: Customers, suppliers, partners, regulatory authorities, and technology providers.
7. Dimensions Financial: Capex & Opex management for QA, Process Technology, and Business Excellence initiatives.
Team Size: 4 members.
8. Skills & Knowledgei. Educational Qualifications & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mineral Beneficiation, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field).
Master’s degree / MBA preferred.
Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean, TQM highly desirable.
ii. Experience
15+ years of experience in quality management, process optimization, and continuous improvement in mineral beneficiation or related heavy industry.
iii. Functional Skills
Expertise in quality management systems (ISO 9001), process optimization, and continuous improvement frameworks.
Strong knowledge of auditing, compliance, and performance monitoring tools.

Strong leadership and people management abilities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management.
