Summary:


The Lead - Product Marketing is responsible for positioning Unimed’s products in a way that drives adoption, revenue growth, and competitive advantage. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role owns product messaging, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement content, customer communication, and launch execution.


The role bridges Product, Sales, and Customer Success, ensuring that product value is clearly communicated to the market and that sales teams have the tools needed to close deals. This includes creating content and campaigns that move prospects deeper into the sales funnel, driving feature adoption, and producing customer proof such as testimonials and case studies. The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller, commercially focused, and confident working directly with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Own product positioning, messaging hierarchy, value propositions, and competitive differentiators for all product lines.
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new product releases, features, and improvements, including launch timelines, messaging, assets, and internal communications.
  • Create sales enablement toolkits such as product decks, demo scripts, pricing sheets, product one-pagers, battlecards, FAQs, and competitor comparisons.
  • Develop content specifically designed to move deals further down the sales funnel such as case studies, value-add email sequences, and industry-specific proof points.
  • Plan, write, and manage customer communication including product newsletters, feature announcements, onboarding content, adoption best practices, and usage tips.
  • Identify customers with strong results, conduct interviews, and produce written or video testimonials and case studies.
  • Work with Product and Customer Success to track product usage, identify adoption gaps, and convert positive outcomes into marketing assets.
  • Work closely with Product to understand roadmap and translate technical updates into simple business benefits for customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with Content Marketing and Corporate Marketing on product launch campaigns, webinars, and event messaging.
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and translate insights into updated messaging, competitive rebuttals, and improved sales enablement.
  • Manage and improve product pages and landing pages, ensuring content is optimized for conversion and SEO.
  • Deliver reports on launch outcomes, competitive performance, product adoption, and demo conversion metrics.


Technical Qualifications:


  • 7 - 10 years of experience in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or maritime industry
  • Proven success leading product launches with measurable business impact
  • Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills; ability to convert technical features into business value
  • Experience creating sales enablement content
  • Confident in interviewing customers and building testimonials or case studies
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, buyer behaviour, and lead qualification stages
  • Experience using CRM, analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with comfort working on product usage data, adoption metrics, and reporting
  • Able to collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Corporate Marketing teams
