Rolesand Responsibilities:

Tenderreading and prepare clarification and deviations
PrepareThermal design of Boilers as per client requirement
Knowledgeof supercritical Boilers,Thermal performance ,Auxilliary selection needed
Knowledgeof Pulverisers,Burners
Knowledgeof SCR,FGD is added advantage
Selectright combustion technology based on Client’s emission compliance requirement
Sizingof Fans, Pumps, ducts, piping, safetyvalves,
PreparingSpecifications and review offer for fans, pumps, Coal handling system,ashhandling system,SNCR,FGD,ESP
Proposaland contract stage P&ID, PFD, GA, datasheet preparation
PrepareBill of materials for purpose of budgeting
Prepareinstrumentation data for control valves, pressure, temperature and flowinstruments.
Basicunderstanding of ERP system such as BaaN , PLM
BasicUnderstanding documentation flow between various departments & customerinterface
Tomeet client to appraise about design features and provide technicalclarification
Providepredicted performance data to enable Commissioning team in startup of Boiler
PreparePG test report to provide inputs for projects closure
Supportcommissioning in Trouble shooting of Boiler performance deviation
PrepareDBR during contract stage for Client approval

CriticalCompetencies:

Deepunderstanding of Engineering Principles such as Thermodynamics, Heat transfer and FluidMechanics related to boiler
Processoptimisation skills to provide right and optimum cost effective solutions toclient
GoodAnalytical Skills to interpret client data and provide right design data
Goodproblem solving skills to identify root cause of issues and provide solutions
Goodcommunication skills to interact within team /cross function team/end client toderive optimum solution to client requirement
