Job Title: E&I Engineer Experience Required: 3 to 6 Years Department: Engineering – Instrumentation & Electrical Employment Type: Full-time Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Location: Pune Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced E&I Engineer with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and control engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of instrumentation systems for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with process and contract requirements. You will also guide junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery. Roles & Responsibilities Develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) in collaboration with the Process Engineering team. Manage complex projects and proposals, including mentoring and guiding junior engineers. Prepare detailed instrument data sheets and technical specifications for all field instruments in line with P&IDs and project requirements. Create detailed specifications for PLC/DCS-based control and shutdown systems, as well as process analyzers. Generate instrument hook-up diagrams and Bill of Materials (BOMs). Design cable tray layouts, junction box (JB) layouts, and instrument location drawings. Develop logic diagrams for BMS, control schemes, drive logic drawings, and similar systems. Monitor and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion. Review and verify specifications and drawings prepared by junior team members. Participate in 3D model reviews with modeling vendors to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Review vendor documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications for all instrumentation components. Show more Show less
