Process Design & Development:
- Lead the design of all core supply chain processes, including goods receiving, inventory put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch from our dark stores and warehouses.
- Design and optimize last-mile delivery processes, focusing on route planning, order hand-off, and customer experience.
- Develop and document new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all key functions, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the network.
- Incorporate principles of Lean and Six Sigma into process design to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Store Expansion & Optimization:
- Lead the end-to-end supply chain planning for new store expansion, including network
- Design, capacity planning, and go-to-market strategies. optimal dark store layouts and workflows that are cost-effective and scalable for new locations.
- Collaborate with the Expansion and Real Estate teams to ensure new sites meet operational and design specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new expansion projects and operational enhancements.
Operational Efficiency & Cost Control:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current operational performance data to identify process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize store processes to enhance efficiency while maintaining strict cost control, focusing on key metrics like labor costs per order, spoilage, and shrinkage.
- Work closely with the technology team to define business requirements for new WMS, TMS, and other supply chain tools.
- Perform regular operational audits to ensure compliance with designed processes and to identify deviations.
Project Management & Implementation:
- Manage key projects related to process improvement, new store launches, and technology rollouts from a design and implementation perspective.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, technology, and sales to ensure new processes are successfully implemented and adopted.
- Develop and deliver training materials to the operations team on new processes and tools
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain operations, with a significant portion dedicated to process design and optimization.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable processes for warehousing, dark stores, and last-mile delivery.
- Direct, hands-on experience in managing and running quick commerce or dark store operations is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform process design decisions and cost optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in supply chain software, including WMS and TMS.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
