Job Description

As a Lead Laboratory, your primary role is to lead and guide the laboratory team in various planning and development activities to ensure accurate analysis, timely reporting, and product certification. Your responsibilities include ensuring the availability, operability, and accuracy of analytical instruments, compliance with safety regulations, and providing analytical support to processing plants and marketing teams. You will also be coordinating with various refinery units on a daily basis for troubleshooting and special activities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and guide the laboratory team in budget planning, manpower planning, and development planning - Ensure 100% availability, operability, and accuracy of analytical instruments - Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations, including calibration and training of manpower - Provide timely analytical support to processing plants and marketing teams - Coordinate with various refinery units for troubleshooting, special analysis, and sample scheduling - Review international standards and update SOPs accordingly - Handle issues related to various products like LPG, SKO, MTO, Gasoline, HSD, LDO, MFO, and Sulphur - Support ADP project for setting up analytical facilities for PP Qualifications Required: - Minimum M. Sc. / B. SC. with a good working knowledge of Refinery / Petrochemical Laboratory - Minimum 20 years of experience in Refinery / Petrochemical Laboratory - Experience in coordination with various functions and operational experience with sophisticated instruments The company focuses on quality management systems, team management, and adherence to environmental and safety standards. Your interactions will involve internal coordination with various departments and external interactions with vendors and certification agencies. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, team management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
