Lead Information Technology

Purpose/Objective

Responsible for managing IT Infrastructure & Applications at Adani Ports, Mundra to support business functions at Container Terminal, Railway handling, Dry Cargo operations, Exim including APIs, IoT Infrastructure, IT Applications on Mobile devices, Gate Automation, RFID/ Fastag interphases.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Point of contact for IT requirements for Projects team stakeholders for Terminal Expansion and stakeholders for IT infrastructure upgrades. - Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of network infrastructure projects focused on Outdoor Infrastructure, ensuring they meet project goals while adhering to budget and schedule. - Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including management and technical teams. - Trouble shoot problems with a long-term perspective suggesting long term solutions and working on them till closure. - To lead initiatives for IT function at site level aligned with business requirements and site priorities - Support the Adani Ports Digital organization to integrate IT for business transformation using IOT, AI amongst many other technology drivers. Alignment with Technology and Analytics teams. - To understand business expectations with respect to site IT services, assess current level of IT functionalities, identify and communicate gaps and scope of improvements to the business team; Devise a strategic plan to meet and deliver IT solutions and services in line with site related requirements. Manage 24X7 operation IT support and adheres to SLA with outsourced partners. Establish and manage 24X7 IT Command and control facility. - Coordination for multi-system interface integration including automation, IOT and Paperless initiatives. - Monitoring and control of IT budget and provide regular updates to CIO/ IT Head/ CTO/ - Implement processes and systems for maintaining security of IT solutions and services in line with standard Adani operating procedures - Implement governance systems and processes at the site in alignment to the governance framework. Timely submission of data asked by BU/Group governance team.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or BE / B Tech in any IT related discipline - Minimum 12-16 years of experience in managing IT services in a large site, preferably in a related industry (power, transmission, Cargo, Logistics, Airport, Green Field projects, resources, or logistics) - Around 5-7 years of experience of leading the IT projects for a similar unit/site / Industrial Automation - Exposure in managing or implementing outdoor Wireless network considering factors like network coverage, bandwidth, Distance for a site will be preferred. - Exposure to largescale transformation and driving change at the team level. Experience in managing IT facilities for Ports and Logistics will be added advantage. - Exposure to OT Security and automation technologies - Sound exposure to IT security practices and managing secure operations
