Role: Middleware Platform Engineer

Location: Hyderabad/Pune

Experience Range: 8 to 14 Years

• Own L3 operations for middleware stacks: installation, patching, upgrades, and break/fix.
• Implement observability: metrics, logs, traces via Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/Splunk, OpenTelemetry.
• Define and meet SLOs/SLAs, reduce MTTR, conduct postincident RCAs, and drive remediation.
• Performance tuning: JVM/GC, thread pools, connection pools, TLS offload, caching/CDN
• Application servers: IBM WebSphere/Liberty, JBoss/WildFly, Apache Tomcat, NGINX.
• API/Microservices: Kong/Apigee/Azure API Management; Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
• Messaging & Integration: Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, Azure Service Bus.
• Design multiregion/DR topologies, clustering, autoscaling, and capacity models.
• Standardize infrastructureascode (Terraform/ARM/CloudFormation) and immutable builds (Packer).
• Enforce secure baselines: TLS 1.2/1.3, cipher suites, mTLS, secrets management (Vault/KMS).
• Implement authentication/authorization: OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, JWT, API keys, consent scopes.
• Manage certificate lifecycle, key rotation, and WAF/API threat protections (ratelimiting, bot defense).
• Align with Zero Trust, least privilege/RBAC, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO/NIST/PCI where applicable).
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible/Chef/Salt, Helm/Kustomize for Kubernetes.
