Role Description Role Proficiency: Design and develop human-centred digital products that features ease of use employ best-in-class interaction design and deliver a delightful customer experience. Collaboratively work with business technology and product teams to understand the product vision and translate them into tangible product design propositions. Collaboratively work with business technology and product teams to understand the product vision and translate them into tangible product design propositions with some guidance from Lead II Perform customer research contextual enquiry market research product benchmarking and brand insights etc. Develop personas customer journeys and design guidelines Lead development of user personas based on customer research findings and integrate personas within deliverables such as customer journeys empathy maps opportunity maps etc. Supports development and coding of low-fidelity and high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes MVP beta and production-ready applications by designing user interface elements UX specifications design systems and standards. Practice design alongside multidisciplinary teams including product engineers product managers business stakeholders and other designers Has a deep understanding of how qualitative and quantitative research inform product and design decisions Work with product teams in execution of new product releases Adherence to the usability best practices with regards to user research design and usability standards provide periodic status updates Ensure career progression for Product Designers II via focused mentoring and grooming Set OKRs and success steps for self/ team and also provide feedback to these goals of team members Measures Of Outcomes Adherence to project schedule / timelines Personal achievement of quarterly/yearly objectives (OKR Assignments HIG Stretch goals) Number of design and product certifications Number of opportunities requiring diversified skill set undertaken by the same team (via cross-skilling of PnP Product Design team) Number of usability issues for the designed products Outputs Expected Plan to develop great products: Participate in ongoing design reviews and iterations Participate in user research initiatives with research teams to understand customer problems; identify and iterate on solutions.Work closely with product management in UX ideation and innovation. Good knowledge of prototyping tool such as Sketch Adobe XD Illustrator Photoshop InDesign Axure Invision etc. Experience in user validation and evaluation techniques including Heuristic Evaluation Usability / Accessibility Testing Eye Tracking etc. Experience in building Design Language Systems for use within product design and technology teamsA genuine eagerness to work with mentor encourage and learn from a diverse and talented team Additional Comments Lead 1- Product Design will be responsible to design and develop human-centred digital products, that features ease of use, employ best-in-class interaction and visual design, that delivers a delightful customer experience. Collaboratively work with business, technology, and product teams to understand the product vision and translate them into tangible product design propositions. Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of user personas based on user and stakeholder research findings, and integrate personas within deliverables such as customer journeys, empathy maps, opportunity maps, service blueprints etc. Establish the experiences for various interfaces, including websites, mobile devices, apps, kiosks, games and wearables. Work within brand guidelines to create screen layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints Design human-centered interaction models, wireframes, low-fidelity and high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes, MVP beta, and production-ready applications by designing user interface elements, UX specifications, and design systems and standards. Perform design reviews and approvals of proposed design and product revisions for desirability, and alignment with user expectations and usability standards Practice design alongside multidisciplinary teams, including product engineers, product managers and business stakeholders and other designers Ensure that the Product Design directions are in alignment with stakeholder business goals, expectations and budget. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation. Set OKRs and success steps for self and also provide feedback to these goals of team members Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Master’s degree with 8 + years of experience, in a digital design-related discipline: Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Visual Communication, New Media Design or Universal design Experience in a digital design-related disciplines: Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Visual Communication, Storytelling, New Media and Universal design Experience in Usability domain with strong expertise in Planning and Delivering multiple UX engagements, in collaboration with Business and Technology teams. A solid foundation in colour, typography, screen layout and visual design with experience in visual transitions, micro animation, motion design and dynamic interaction elements. Extensive Hands-on experience on prototyping tool such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InvisionApp, Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign etc. Hands-on experience in envisioning and designing for Products /platforms, working simultaneously on multiple complex design problems. Understanding of Web design and Front-end development challenges, including usability, responsive design, browser and cross-platform compatibility etc. Experience in building Design Language Systems for use within product design and technology teams Excellent visual communication, presentation and organizational skills, with high attention to detail An excellent Design portfolio showcasing your best of work is mandatory.
