Job Description

Job Title: Lead – Field IT Support Location: India Experience: 10+ Years Department: IT Support & Infrastructure Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead – Field IT Support to oversee and manage IT operations, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support across various locations in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware, software, networking, and enterprise IT systems , ensuring seamless IT support for business operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage field IT support operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, network infrastructure, and enterprise applications. Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices. Troubleshoot complex IT problems and escalate issues to higher-level support when necessary. Ensure business continuity by proactively identifying and resolving IT infrastructure risks. Manage and coordinate vendor relationships for IT equipment procurement and service support. Maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring proper allocation and tracking of equipment. Implement security protocols, manage access control, and support compliance with IT policies. Provide guidance and mentorship to the field IT support team, fostering skill development. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and performance metrics. Collaborate with global IT teams to align strategies and standardize IT support processes. Ensure adherence to IT service-level agreements (SLAs) and continuous improvement of IT operations. Required Skills & Expertise Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, macOS, and enterprise IT systems. Expertise in network troubleshooting, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud-based technologies. Hands-on experience in hardware diagnostics, replacement, and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-first mindset. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.). Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and IT compliance. Ability to travel across India for on-site technical support as required. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications such as CCNA, ITIL, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are a plus.
