Job Summary:

Lead UAV Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of

  customized UAV platforms

  (Multirotor, FPV, VTOL, Agricultural).
• Calculate and optimize

  thrust-to-weight ratios

  for drone performance and payload capacity.
• Integrate and configure

  flight controllers

  such as

  Pixhawk, K3A Pro, K+ V2

  , and ensure compatibility with various modules.
• Work with

  PPK (Post-Processed Kinematics)

  and

  RTK (Real-Time Kinematics)

  positioning modules for high-precision applications.
• Develop and troubleshoot FPV drones, including camera systems, transmission, and piloting interfaces.
• Utilize software tools such as

  Mission Planner

  ,

  QGroundControl

  , or other FC-compatible platforms for tuning, mission planning, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, operations) to meet project timelines and performance goals.
• Conduct flight tests, analyze telemetry data, and iterate designs for reliability and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Required Qualifications:

-3–4 years of hands-on experience in the drone/UAV industry.

-Proven experience building and testing multi-rotor and VTOL drones.

-Strong programming skills, especially in Python (C++, ROS, or similar languages is a plus).

-Understanding of drone flight controllers, autopilot systems (e.g., PX4, ArduPilot), and telemetry systems.

-Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup environment.
