Lead Data Architect

🧭 Role Summary

The Lead Data Architect will lead the design and finalization of data models for CRM and ERP systems involving Salesforce and NetSuite. The role requires hands-on expertise in data modeling, documentation, and integration with enterprise systems. It involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners to ensure that all data models are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business requirements.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and finalize end-to-end data models across multiple business domains.
• Utilize Salesforce and NetSuite standard structures while customizing models for future business needs.
• Create logical and physical data models for CRM and ERP integrations.
• Produce comprehensive documentation including Data Dictionaries, Validation Rules, and Source-to-Target Mappings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and validate data needs.
• Work with Salesforce and NetSuite partners to resolve data and system dependencies.
• Conduct discovery sessions to identify gaps and refine models through iterative feedback.
• Ensure data models meet system constraints, business rules, and best practices.
• Prepare final deliverables and documentation for system implementers and developers.

🧠 Required Skills

Core Skills

• Proven expertise in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Enterprise Data Design.
• Strong practical experience creating Data Dictionaries, ERDs, Validation Rules, and Source-to-Target Mappings.
• Proficiency with tools such as Lucidchart, ER/Studio, ERWin, Miro, or Draw.io.

CRM/ERP Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce Data Model (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSC preferred).
• Solid understanding of NetSuite ERP Data Structures.
• Experience aligning custom data models with standard system schemas.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data migration, and integration patterns.
• Understanding of data transformation and mapping strategies.
• Capability to analyze source systems and design optimized target structures.

Functional Domain Experience (Preferred)

• Supply Chain (Orders, Inventory, Units)
• Record-to-Report (Chart of Accounts)
• Order-to-Cash (Invoices, Field Service, Order Line Items)
• Vendor Management (Vendors, Bills, Purchase Orders)
• Lead-to-Close (Leads, Opportunities, Sales Orders, Quotes, Assets)
• Master Data (Accounts, Contacts, Products, Price Books)

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and documentation discipline.
• Proven ability to manage discovery and iteration in a fast-paced environment.
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to simplify complex data concepts.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).

• Shift Timing: Night Shift
• Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred
• Interview Process: 2 internal rounds + 2 client rounds
