Lotus Dairy Products Private Limited is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing business for all products of the company in Modern Trade across assigned geographies. Your role will involve cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in Modern Trade to drive business growth and meet sales targets. You will also be required to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and devise actionable plans to capitalize on untapped market potentials. Key Responsibilities: - Initiate, launch, and develop business for all products of the company in Modern Trade across assigned geographies. - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Modern Trade to drive business growth and meet sales targets. - Develop a growth framework by analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and devising actionable plans to capitalize on untapped market potentials. - Lead negotiations and manage annual contractual agreements & Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships with all customers. - Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute shopper marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and sales. - Analyze sales data, track important performance metrics, and derive actionable insights to optimize sales strategies and product placements to drive growth. - Forecasting and stock planning with supply chain teams. Anticipate demand, manage inventory levels effectively, and prevent stock outs or overstock situations. - Develop a holistic understanding of market trends and track competition activities w.r.t. product, pricing, trade & brand promotions offered, credit facilities, new launches in the territory, and provide timely feedback to the management. - Propose new products using relevant data sources and track performance post-launch. Qualifications Required: - MBA with a specialization in Sales and Marketing from a prestigious institute. - 5-8 years of experience in the FMCG sector handling national key accounts of similar scale in other organizations is preferred. - Proven work experience as a Key Account Manager/Category Manager with FMCG/Retail formats. - Outstanding communication, listening, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. - Strong understanding of the product categories Lotus operates in along with short-term and long-term trends. - Know the customer: Deeply understand customer behavior, develop new customer insights. - Advanced proficiency in English and Hindi. - Flexibility to travel as needed.
