Key Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage one or more strategic OEM accounts, ensuring business growth and long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Lead proposals, contract discussions, and commercial negotiations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on client requirements.
  • Gather and analyze business intelligence on customers, competition, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and challenges.
Skills & Experience

Commercial/Technical:

  • Proven experience in handling and growing key accounts (100 Cr+ annual turnover) for 3+ years.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow share of business year-on-year with OEMs.
  • Strong network with decision-makers and influencers at OEMs.

Managerial/Behavioral:

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication (written & spoken English).
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to operate with urgency and collaborate effectively across teams.
Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (mandatory). MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of account management / sales experience, ideally with an

    automotive Tier-1 supplier

  • Experience in Mechatronics components & systems like Electronic controllers and ECUs or Automotive electronics or Vehicle control systems or Smart mobility solutions or embedded automotive systems or Powertrain & drivetrain electronics will be prefered.
  • Consistent academic record (60% and above).
