Job Description: Key Account Manager


Position Overview


The Key Account Manager is responsible for identifying potential clients, presenting software solutions, generating leads, and closing sales. The role involves understanding customer needs, giving product demos, and maintaining long-term client relationships to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities


1. Lead Generation & Prospecting


Identify potential clients through calls, emails, social media, and networking.


Create and manage a qualified lead pipeline.


Research market trends and target customer segments.



2. Sales & Client Interaction


Conduct product demos and explain software features and benefits.


Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and pricing.


Follow up with clients and convert leads into sales.


Negotiate terms and close deals.



3. Customer Relationship Management


Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.


Handle client queries and coordinate with the technical/support team.


Build long-term relations to generate repeat business and referrals.



4. Coordination


Work with the sales manager and product team for smooth execution of projects.


Provide customer feedback for product improvement.


Update CRM with leads, calls, meetings, and sales activities.



5. Reporting


Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.


Track performance against targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.


5+ years of experience in software/SaaS/B2B sales .


Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.


Ability to understand and explain technical proucts.


Profound knowledge in-

  • Technologies:

Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, BI & AI, Cloud & Big Data, Application Product Engineering, Smart Technologies.

  • Solutions:

TaxTech (VAT Solutions), InsureTech, Fleet & Logistics Management (IoT), Data Life Cycle Solutions, EduTech Solutions.

  • Industry Verticals:

BFSI (Financial Services), Transport & Logistics, Oil & Gas, Industrial & Manufacturing, Mining & Metals, Real Estate & Construction, Tourism, Education, Public Sector, and Large Enterprises.

  • Exceptional communication and networking skills
  • Ability to operate both individually and as a cohesive member of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preparedness for extensive travels.
