Role Description As a Key Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for customers — managing inquiries, confirming requirements, coordinating production timelines, tracking order status, and ensuring that every delivery meets client expectations. This is a senior customer operations role, suitable for someone who can work independently, handle multiple clients, and requires minimal training. Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day communication with customers via phone, email, and WhatsApp. - Understand client requirements for packaging, materials, sizes, and customization. - Prepare quotations, confirm orders, share timelines, and provide regular updates. - Coordinate with internal teams — production, design, procurement — to ensure smooth execution. - Track order status, follow up on deliverables, and resolve issues proactively. - Maintain accurate records of inquiries, orders, dispatches, and customer feedback. - Ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction. - Build strong relationships with recurring and key clients. - Handle order escalations professionally and ensure quick resolution. - Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports on order status, delays, and customer interactions. - Benchmark customer experience standards and recommend improvements. Experience & Requirements - 4–5+ years of experience in customer service / client servicing / sales coordination in packaging, printing, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar B2B environment. - Strong communication skills (English and Hindi). Ability to manage customers independently without hand-holding. - Excellent understanding of order processing and production timelines. - Experience preparing quotations, POs, delivery schedules, and follow-ups. - Strong problem-solving approach and ownership mindset. - Ability to manage multiple clients and orders simultaneously. - Familiar with MIS reporting, Excel, and CRM tools. - High responsiveness and customer-focused behaviour. Qualifications Strong interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills Proven experience in sales, account management, and business development Ability to analyze data and track performance metrics to improve client satisfaction Proficiency in preparing proposals, presentations, and negotiations Highly organized with excellent time management skills Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and adapt to a fast-paced environment Experience in the packaging or related industries is an advantage Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline
