Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Taj Wellington Mews, with 5-8 years of experience in the culinary industry.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct quality control checks on food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen environment.
  • Support inventory management and stock control.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage.
