Job Description

Experience Requirements

2–5 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma (Certification preferred).
Experience with customer and supplier communication on quality matters.

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Control & Assurance

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
Monitor product quality at various stages of production.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

2. Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving

Use tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, and SPC.
Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs.
Collaborate with production teams to reduce scrap, rework, and process variation.

3. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 (or IATF 16949 / ISO 13485 / AS9100 depending on the industry).
Prepare quality reports, audit documentation, and process validation records.

Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

5. Supplier Quality

Evaluate and qualify suppliers.
Conduct supplier audits and quality reviews.
Handle supplier non-conformance and ensure corrective actions.

Required Skills & QualificationsEducation

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, machining, molding, assembly, etc.).
Familiarity with quality tools: SPC, PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, 8D.
Experience with calibration systems and measurement tools (CMM, gauges, micrometers).

Software

Proficient in ERP/MRP systems.
Experience with quality management software (QMS).
Ability to analyze data using Excel, Minitab, or similar tools.
Support process optimization and productivity enhancement.
Perform statistical analysis of production data to improve process capability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,896.73 per month
