Role Purpose
Logistics -Sourcing Team.
Responsibilities/ Task
Key Responsibilities with brief description according to priority
Requirement Assessment
- Project-related summary of parts and components requirements for the entire engineering process.
- Ongoing revision of requirements throughout the entire project phase.
- Creation of schedules and timelines for parts manufacturing and procurement according to the PTK/PTM process.
Preparation Activities for Parts Procurement
- Preparation of the overall requirements list concerning order-relevant parts and assemblies.
- Management and maintenance as well as monitoring of the TFT.
- Obtaining quotes (internally) and participating in supplier selection.
Parts Commissioning
- Selection of the manufacturing process considering deadlines, costs, and technical requirements.
- Commissioning of parts and components for the various engineering departments according to the specified requirements.
Material Management
- Ongoing urgency of the commissioned parts and assemblies concerning deadlines.
- Clarification of technical and scheduling issues with the design departments.
- Participation in specialist group and supplier meetings.
