Junior Design Engineer

You’ll dive into project scheduling, root cause analysis, and system design while utilizing cutting-edge software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Your contributions will be pivotal in the development of mechanical and civil engineering projects, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the design process.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Design Development & Concept Creation
• Assist in developing innovative product and design concepts aligned with project and client requirements.
• Prepare design layouts, 3D models, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or relevant software.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative inputs for design improvement and new product development.
• Coordination with Sales Team
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand project briefs and prepare design proposals and quotations.
• Support mock-up development and presentation of design concepts to clients.
• Ensure all design inputs are aligned with client expectations and budget parameters.
• Production Drawing & Execution Support
• Prepare and finalize detailed production and working drawings for manufacturing and site execution.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure accurate implementation of approved drawings.
• Monitor design quality and assist in resolving design-related challenges during fabrication and installation stages.
• Client and Architect Coordination
• Liaise with clients and architects to discuss design intent, material selections, and technical details.
• Incorporate design feedback, revisions, and approvals efficiently into project documentation.
• Maintain clear communication between design, production, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Documentation & Quality Assurance
• Maintain design documentation, revision records, and drawing logs systematically.
• Support the team in ensuring all designs comply with company standards and safety norms.
• Participate in site visits to ensure design accuracy and aesthetic consistency.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of design fundamentals, detailing, and material specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office; knowledge of 3D visualization tools is an advantage.
• Good coordination, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Creative mindset with problem-solving aptitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
