Junior Design Engineer

Job Description: You will be joining MAS Industries Pvt. Ltd. as a Junior/Design Engineer in the Design & Engineering team. Your primary responsibility will involve creating accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for elevator components and systems. You will work on simulations using tools like ANSYS to analyze and refine designs based on structural and operational conditions. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure design feasibility and compliance, as well as contribute to design optimization and product improvement in design review meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Create accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks - Utilize ANSYS or similar tools for simulations and analysis - Prepare customized elevator layouts and component designs - Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for design specifications - Maintain version control and systematic record of design documentation - Participate in design review meetings and contribute ideas for optimization Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering - 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design - Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and strong working knowledge of SolidWorks - Basic understanding of ANSYS or FEA software (preferred) - Good understanding of mechanical components, fabrication processes, and technical drawing standards - Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks independently or as part of a team - Good problem-solving and time management abilities Additional Details: The company provides benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, commuter assistance, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
