Junior Account Executive

Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting systems.
- Assist in the entry of day-to-day financial transactions including bills, receipts, vouchers, and other documentation.
- Ensure proper classification and documentation of all accounting entries.
Reconciliation
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliation processes.
- Reconcile vendor statements, bank accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure consistency.
- Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
Invoice Processing
- Manage the preparation and processing of purchase orders and vendor invoices.
- Verify billing accuracy and ensure timely payments.
- Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to resolve invoice or payment-related queries.
Communication and Coordination
- Collaborate with internal departments to collect data, verify expenses, and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Communicate with vendors and external partners regarding invoice and payment inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial documents for audits and compliance checks.
Financial Analysis and Reporting Support
- Assist in compiling data for financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support the finance team in analyzing expenses, cost trends, and budget variances.
- Participate in internal review meetings and contribute to financial process improvements.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Good command of MS Excel and experience working with spreadsheets.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with ERP or finance systems.
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, or other compliance-related matters (preferred but not mandatory).
- Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth in finance/accounting roles
