Job Description

Core Responsibilities : Institutional Relationship Management: Ø Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers (pathologists, lab managers, procurement officers, administrators) in target institutions. Ø Understanding the specific needs and requirements of each institution. Ø Acting as a primary point of contact for all institutional inquiries and support. Ø Sales and Business Development: Ø Promoting and selling the company's IVD products and solutions to institutions. Ø Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned territory. Ø Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals. Ø Meeting and exceeding sales targets. Technical Product Knowledge and Support: Ø Possessing a strong understanding of the company's IVD product portfolio and its applications. Ø Providing technical information and support to customers. Ø Conducting product demonstrations and training sessions. Ø Addressing technical inquiries and resolving customer issues. Tender and Contract Management: Ø Managing the tender process for government and institutional clients. Ø Preparing and submitting tender documents. Ø Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements. Ø Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions. Market Analysis and Reporting : Ø Monitoring market trends and competitor activities. Ø Providing feedback to the company on customer needs and market opportunities. Ø Preparing regular sales reports and forecasts. Ø Maintaining records of sales and customer interactions. Regulatory Compliance : Ø Understanding and adhering to all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, CE, local regulations). Ø Ensuring that all sales and marketing activities comply with applicable regulations. Ø Facilitating the proper documentation for instillation and usage of IVD products. Required Skills and Qualifications : Education: Ø Bachelor's degree in medical technology, biology, chemistry, business administration, or a related field. Ø Master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred. Experience : Ø Proven experience in sales or business development within the IVD or healthcare industry. Ø Experience working with institutions like hospitals, medical colleges, and government organizations. Ø Experience in managing tenders and contracts. Skills : Ø Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ø Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Ø Technical proficiency in IVD products and applications. Ø Knowledge of the healthcare market and regulatory environment. Ø Strong organizational and time management skills. Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Personal Attributes : Ø Strong work ethic and results-oriented. Ø Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ø Ability to build and maintain long term relationships. Ø Adaptability and flexibility. Ø Strong problem-solving skills. Ø High level of integrity. Key Considerations : Government Tendering : Ø Experience with government tendering processes and regulations is crucial. Institutional Sales : Ø Understanding the unique purchasing processes and decision-making structures of institutions. Technical Expertise : Ø Ability to provide technical support and product demonstrations to highly qualified professionals. Regulatory Awareness : Ø Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements. Networking : Ø Ability to network and build relationships with key opinion leaders in the medical community. Travel : Ø The role will likely involve significant travel to visit institutions within the assigned territory.
