About The Role

Junior Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including entries, invoicing, payments, and receipts.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Handle vendor payments, expense tracking, and employee reimbursements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and inter-company transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support the preparation of MIS reports and financial data analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during internal and statutory audits.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections when required.
• Maintain accurate records of TDS, GST filings, and other statutory compliances.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com).
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Proficiency in Tally / QuickBooks / Zoho Books / SAP (as applicable).
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GST, TDS, and compliance filings.
• Knowledge of payroll accounting and reconciliations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
