You are a skilled and experienced Sr. Design Manager needed to lead the Production Engineering Drawing team at an HVAC Manufacturing Company located in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Your role involves overseeing the preparation and management of detailed manufacturing drawings, coordinating closely with production and sales teams, and ensuring high-quality and timely output. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and AutoCAD draftsmen, providing guidance, support, and quality checks. Regular meetings, reviewing project plans, and ensuring that all design work meets company standards and client requirements are also part of your responsibilities. Lead and supervise the team of production drawing engineers and AutoCAD draftsmen, ensuring efficient workload distribution and timely delivery. Review and approve manufacturing drawings to ensure compliance with production standards, design specifications, and quality norms. Provide technical guidance and support to the drawing team for complex assemblies and fabrication detailing. Drive process improvements to enhance drawing accuracy, reduce rework, and support lean manufacturing goals. Qualification for this position includes a B.Tech/BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical field. You should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in design or production drawing management in a manufacturing environment. Expertise in AutoCAD and familiarity with other design software is required. Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication, HVAC, or industrial equipment manufacturing processes is essential. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interdepartmental coordination skills are a must. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality control. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
