Assistant Electrician

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reading technical diagrams and blueprints, as well as performing general electrical maintenance for machines and infrastructure. You will also be expected to inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components, troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices, and maintain records of work performed and materials used. Key Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. - Read technical diagrams and blueprints. - Perform general electrical maintenance for machines and infrastructure. - Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. - Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. - Maintain records of work performed and materials used. - Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes and safety regulations. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. - Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime. - Assist in energy-saving and electrical improvement projects. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role. - Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. - Familiarity with applicable codes and safety regulations. - Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
