Java Engineer with 4-8 years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Development:

o Design, develop, and maintain features for our FinTech application using Java and Spring Boot.

o Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code, focusing on both performance and maintainability.

o Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend the functionality of the application.

2. Collaboration & Teamwork:

o Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

o Work closely with Product Managers to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed technical designs and features.

o Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

3. Testing & Quality Assurance:

o Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and stability of the codebase.

o Debug and resolve issues, ensuring that the application runs smoothly and efficiently.

o Participate in ensuring that the software adheres to quality standards and meets regulatory requirements.

4. Continuous Improvement:

o Suggest and implement improvements to the development process, tools, and technologies used by the team.

o Contributes to building a positive, collaborative, and knowledge-sharing environment within the engineering team

5. Compliance & Security:

o Follow best practices to ensure that the application is secure and compliant with relevant industry regulations.

o Be proactive about identifying and mitigating potential security risks and vulnerabilities in the system

Requirements:

o Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4-8 years of Java development

SQL and NoSQL databases.

AWS, GCP, or Azure

CI/CD pipelines

Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

Jenkins, Kubernetes, and other DevOps automation tools.

o Full-Stack Exposure: Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.

o FinTech Experience: Understanding payment systems, transaction processing, and data security in FinTech applications.
