Java Developer

Experience: 7 to 15 Years

Education: B.E/B.Tech/MCA

Technical Skills:

• Experience developing enterprise

  Java 8 AND Java 11

  applications
• Hands-on Experience in J2EE applications, JPA,

  Hibernate, EJB

  , experience with memory management, performance issues, performance tuning, Load Balancing , server setup.
• Worked on Production Issues.
• Should have a working knowledge of XML, JSON, web services (SOAP &

  REST

  ).
• Preferably from Card Domain
• Should be a independent contributor
• Familiar with various design patterns and techniques
• Should have exp in Batch Processing.
• Solid Experience writing Junit, component and integration tests
• Database-related technologies:

  ORACLE ,PL/SQL

• Basic Linux and basic Linux Scripting
• Experience developing in both software tiers front end with HTML /CSS/JS, back end and database queries
• Responsible for full cycle systems development activities including software design, development, and deployment to launch new systems and enhance existing systems
• Experience with tools: Shell scripting , Cloud ,CI/CD , Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, JIRA, Maven, Nexus repository Manager, SonarQube, SoapUI, Postman, JBOSS 7.4 ,Developer Studio –Eclipse/IntelliJ
• Knowledge on Cloud based applications.
• Should have worked in the distributed agile model and continuous integration
• NICE TO Have: Spring/Spring boot framework/Microservice, Tapestry.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly initiative-taking and solution-oriented approach.

Key

• Designing and developing modern and modular Java/J2EE applications using current coding and testing standards.
• Working collaboratively and closely with a global team of technologists .
• Strong ability to lead with ideas and innovation.
• Participating in agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the team's goals.
• Part of Fully Responsible Agile Team Managing full cycle from Dev, Unit Testing, CI,CD, Testing to production maintenance
• Monitor application performance using APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace ) to identify bottlenecks and diagnose performance issues.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to establish performance benchmarks and implement effective testing strategies.
• Analyze application metrics, logs, and traces to identify trends and proactively address performance issues.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into application performance metrics for stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analysis of application performance issues and recommend solutions or optimizations.
• Assist in the design and implementation of continuous performance improvement initiatives, including performance testing and load testing strategies.
• Optimize application deployments, configurations, and resource allocations for improved performance and scalability.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in application performance management and monitoring.
