Position: Technical Support Intern Location: Mohali Sector 83 Alpha IT City Duration: 6 Months Type: Internship Full-time Eligibility: BTech Computer Science, BCA, MCA, or BSc IT students or recent graduates Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined intern to join our IT support team. The intern will assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computers, servers, printers, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), antivirus, endpoint security, and firewalls for our business clients. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and strong English communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact effectively with team members and clients. Key Responsibilities Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to computers, servers, and printers. Cloud Support: Assist in troubleshooting issues on cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Security Management: Support the configuration and maintenance of antivirus software, endpoint security solutions, and firewalls. Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand technical issues, provide clear solutions, and document interactions effectively. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed records of troubleshooting steps, solutions, and client communications. Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior IT staff to learn and implement best practices in IT support and cybersecurity. Learning & Development: Stay updated on emerging technologies and participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills. Required Qualifications Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed BTech in Computer Science, BCA, MCA, or BSc IT. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking fundamentals. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus. Knowledge of antivirus software, endpoint security, or firewalls is desirable. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to interact with clients and document solutions clearly. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Learning Attitude: Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving IT challenges. Preferred Qualifications Prior coursework or projects related to cloud computing, cybersecurity, or IT support. Basic experience with scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
