Position Overview

The Executive – IT Engineer will provide proactive technical support for the school’s digital learning ecosystem, ensuring smooth functioning of classroom tech, network infrastructure, and educational applications. The role demands hands-on troubleshooting and close collaboration with teachers, students, and administration to maintain a seamless learning experience across hybrid and physical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT operations including systems monitoring, maintenance, and user support.
• Provide technical support for classroom devices (Senses Boards, projectors, sound systems, video conferencing tools) and ensure readiness for hybrid teaching sessions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for teachers, students, and administrative staff.
• Oversee and maintain the school’s ERP system, ensuring data security, user access control, and system integration with other applications.
• Support deployment and management of Microsoft 365, Teams for Education, and other educational tools.
• Handle tech-related grievances promptly and maintain a tracking system for service requests/resolutions.
• Ensure strong network performance, internet security, and data protection across all systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors or service providers for IT infrastructure maintenance.
• Assist in managing and maintaining Computer Lab facilities for students, ensuring functionality and safe usage.
• Conduct periodic training/orientation sessions for teachers and students on IT tools and digital literacy.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support, preferably in an educational or institutional environment.
• Sound knowledge of:
• Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.)
• Networking and server management (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers)
• Educational applications and digital classroom technologies
• ERP systems and database management
• Familiarity with Microsoft Certified Educator / Microsoft Innovative Educator environments is a strong plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
