Job Description

The IT Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of hotel IT operations, ensuring uninterrupted availability, security, and performance of OPERA (Oracle) PMS, POS systems, Guest Wi-Fi, and all supporting IT infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in hospitality applications, servers, networking, and IT security to support smooth hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities Hospitality Applications & Systems

  • Manage, administer, and support OPERA (Oracle) PMS, including server coordination, upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee POS systems for restaurants, bars, banquets, and other outlets, ensuring seamless integration with PMS and finance systems.
  • Support and manage other hotel operational systems, including:
  • HRMS
  • CRM & Loyalty systems
  • Revenue management systems
  • Finance and back-office applications
  • Coordinate with Oracle and other OEMs/vendors for system updates, patches, and issue resolution.

Guest Technology & Wi-Fi

  • Manage and maintain guest Wi-Fi solutions, including captive portal, bandwidth management, security, and service quality.
  • Ensure secure segregation of guest and back-office networks.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues impacting guest experience and hotel operations.

IT Infrastructure & Networking

  • Manage servers storage, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi networks, including:
  • Switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Structured cabling systems
  • Internet leased lines and redundancy
  • Ensure high availability and performance of all IT services.

IT Security & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor IT security policies, including:
  • Firewall and endpoint protection
  • User access controls
  • Data backup and recovery
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, audits, and security guidelines.

Operations Support & Vendor Management

  • Provide IT support to front office, F&B, housekeeping, finance, and administrative teams.
  • Ensure minimum downtime for business-critical systems.
  • Manage IT assets, inventory, AMCs, and vendor relationships.
  • Conduct user training and awareness programs on IT systems and best practices.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Act as the single point of contact for all IT matters at the property.
  • Prepare system documentation, incident reports, and performance metrics.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong hands-on experience with OPERA (Oracle) PMS
  • Working knowledge of hotel POS systems
  • Expertise in Guest Wi-Fi solutions and hospitality network design
  • Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls)
  • Knowledge of Windows servers.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, backups, and DR planning
  • Strong troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and communication skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7–10 years of IT experience, preferably in hospitality or hotel operations
  • Experience in managing IT for large or luxury hotels preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
