Audio Visual Engineer

The AV Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of audio-visual system integration projects — from design and pre-sales support to installation, configuration, testing, and handover. The role involves working closely with clients, consultants, OEMs, and internal project teams to deliver reliable and high-quality AV solutions for corporate offices, hospitality, education, and enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:1. System Design & Pre-Sales Support

• Work with the pre-sales team to prepare technical designs, BOQs, schematics, and solution proposals based on client requirements.
• Evaluate site conditions, recommend appropriate AV technologies, and ensure compatibility with IT/network infrastructure.
• Support proposal presentations and technical clarifications with consultants and clients.

2. Project Execution & Installation

• Lead on-site installation and commissioning of AV systems including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, cameras, DSPs, and control processors.
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, networking teams, and civil contractors to ensure proper site readiness and integration.
• Supervise technicians and ensure quality workmanship, cable management, and proper termination.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, drawings, and technical specifications.

3. Configuration & Programming

• Configure and program AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX), video switchers, DSPs, and conferencing systems.
• Integrate AV systems with IT networks for AV-over-IP, conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, Webex), and automation.
• Conduct functional testing, tuning, and calibration of audio and video systems to achieve optimal performance.

4. Testing, Handover & Documentation

• Conduct pre-handover inspections and ensure punch points are resolved.
• Prepare and submit as-built drawings, test reports, and handover documentation.
• Train end-users or client IT teams on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Support project closure and handover to service/AMC teams.

5. Technical Support & Maintenance

• Provide post-installation support and troubleshooting during the defect liability period.
• Assist the service team with escalations and advanced troubleshooting when required.
• Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and OEM updates.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
