Develop and execute the infrastructure roadmap aligned with business needs.
Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient IT infrastructure solutions.
Plan technology upgrades, modernization initiatives, and cloud strategies.
Manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage technologies (SAN/NAS).
Ensure reliable performance, proactive monitoring, and rapid issue resolution.
Implement cloud governance, cost optimization, backups, and security controls.
Support hybrid architecture and migration projects.
Implement cybersecurity best practices and infrastructure hardening.
Coordinate patching, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCIDSS, etc.).
Own infrastructure-related incident, problem, and change management.
Maintain high service availability and meet SLAs.
Oversee backup/restore, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity plans.
Lead and mentor systems engineers, network engineers, and infrastructure support staff.
Allocate tasks, set performance goals, and facilitate technical training.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Manage vendor relationships, procurement, contracts, and negotiations.
Monitor infrastructure expenditures and prepare annual budgets.
Evaluate new technologies and make data-driven recommendations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
6–10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or system/network administration.
3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, routing).
Expertise in server administration (Windows/Linux).
Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and storage systems.
Knowledge of security tools, identity management (AD/Azure AD), and monitoring systems.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications such as ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, VMware VCP, Azure/AWS Certifications, Security+, or CISSP.
Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
Background in DevOps, cloud-native technologies, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
System uptime & SLA adherence.
Successful completion of infrastructure projects.
Cybersecurity and compliance improvements.
Efficiency in cloud and infrastructure cost management.
Team performance and customer satisfaction.
