Job Description

Job Title: IT Associate


Location: Nal Stop, Pune


Job Purpose:

The IT Associate will support the branch's day-to-day technology operations, ensuring

smooth functioning of hardware, software, networks, and educational technology

platforms. They will assist staff and students with IT issues, maintain IT assets, and ensure

a secure and effective IT environment that enhances teaching and learning.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical support for computers, printers, smartboards, projectors, and

other devices across the branch.

* Manage and troubleshoot school network (LAN/Wi-Fi), internet connectivity, and

server-related issues.

* Maintain and update student and staff accounts (email IDs, portals, ERP systems).

* Assist in setting up IT infrastructure for school events, online examinations, and

digital classes.

* Conduct preventive maintenance of IT equipment; manage AMC (Annual

Maintenance Contracts) vendors.

* Monitor cybersecurity practices and support data privacy compliance.

* Manage software licensing, updates, and installations (Windows, MS Office,

antivirus, educational software).

* Maintain inventory records of IT assets and coordinate procurement of

hardware/software.

* Provide first-level training and technical guidance to teachers and staff on IT tools.

* Support online platforms like Learning Management Systems (LMS), parent portals,

attendance software, etc.

* Collaborate with external vendors for technical support and service escalations.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

* 1-3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in an educational institution.

* Good understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and

troubleshooting basics.

* Knowledge of Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms

is a plus.

* Basic understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy practices.

* Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented attitude.

* Good communication skills to support non-technical users.


Preferred:

* Experience with ERP systems or school management software.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
