Role

The Investment Officer will play a central role in managing, monitoring, and growing the family’s wealth through a diversified investment portfolio. The role requires strong financial acumen, risk management expertise, and the ability to analyze multi-asset investments while ensuring alignment with the family’s long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Mangaement

  • Manage and oversee investments across equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and alternative assets.
  • Continuously monitor portfolio performance and ensure asset allocation aligns with strategic goals.
  • Adjust and rebalance investments as per market dynamics and risk-return expectations.


Investment Analysis

  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on new investment opportunities.
  • Prepare financial analysis, forecasts, and valuation models.
  • Provide investment recommendations with supporting analysis for decision-makers.


Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reports.
  • Draft investment summaries, presentations, and performance updates.
  • Maintain structured records of all investment activities.


Compliance and Audit

  • Ensure compliance with financial, taxation, and legal regulations.
  • Align with family governance structures and investment policies.
  • Support audits with accurate investment data.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies, auditors, legal advisors, and trusteeship firms.


Coordination and Stake Management

  • Collaborate with external asset managers, banks, and wealth management firms.
  • Act as a bridge between family members and professional advisors.
  • Coordinate with internal accounts, MIS, and finance teams (India & overseas).

Qualification -

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certifications:

    CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred; NISM certification is an added advantage
  • Experience:

    5–7 years in Family Office or Private Wealth Management
  • Technical Expertise:

  • Multi-asset investing, risk management, and financial reporting

  • Advanced Excel & investment tracking software (e.g., MProfit)

Skils

Technical Skills:

  • Investment analysis, valuation & portfolio management
  • Knowledge of private investments, alternative assets, estate & trust accounting
  • Advanced financial modeling and reporting
