About the Role

We’re seeking a sharp, analytical, and curious Investment Research Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our product and research teams to:

● Build and refine mutual fund recommendation models using both quantitative and qualitative data.

● Analyze investor portfolios to uncover insights, evaluate fund performance, and suggest actionable recommendations.

● Deep dive into mutual fund datasets, ratings, benchmarks, and market trends to produce high-quality research.

● Work cross-functionally to translate insights into product features, client communications, and dashboards.

● Explore new datasets to identify emerging patterns and opportunities that enhance our investment intelligence

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain models for ranking and recommending mutual funds across categories.

● Perform performance attribution, risk analysis, and return decomposition using holdings and transaction data.

● Enrich portfolio data by integrating external datasets and rating frameworks to derive deeper insights.

● Present findings through clear visualizations, concise reports, and data-driven storytelling.

● Support ad-hoc research and data projects to inform product strategy and business growth. 

What We’re Looking For

● 1–2 years of hands-on experience in financial research, investment analysis, or data analytics.

● Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.

● Working knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter, etc.) for modeling and data processing.

● Solid understanding of mutual funds, investment metrics (CAGR, alpha, beta), and portfolio construction.

● Strong analytical thinking and ability to derive actionable insights from data.

● Excellent communication skills — capable of turning complex analyses into simple, impactful narratives.

Nice to Have

● Exposure to investment research platforms or fintech products.

● Experience with Snowflake, Power BI, or Tableau.

● Familiarity with Git and basic scripting for data automation.
