We are looking for an experienced and hands-on finance professional with the ambition to grow into a CFO role. They should have high integrity, strong business acumen, and a problem-solving mindset. This role involves setting up and leading the finance and compliance functions from the ground up. It requires direct involvement-rolling up sleeves to drive execution rather than just managing. As PowerUp scales, they will build a lean yet high-performing team across finance, legal, and compliance. Developing a deep understanding of compliance and working closely with regulators will also be an essential part of the role. Responsibilities Set up strong yet agile finance processes that enable the company to scale efficiently while maintaining cost discipline. Work closely with business and growth teams to support rapid decision-making and execution. Take ownership of legal and compliance functions, ensuring regulatory adherence while enabling business growth. Build and lead a lean, high-performing finance team as the company scales. Engage directly with regulators, developing a deep understanding of compliance so that accountability for it rests with them. Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting while maintaining financial integrity. Be hands-on-rolling up sleeves to solve problems, as we value individual contributors over managers.
