Job Title: International Trade Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and compliance-savvy International Trade Manager to lead our global sales and trade operations. This role combines international B2B sales with trade strategy, ensuring full adherence to the GoI export-import regulations, including DGFT, Customs, and GST frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • International Sales & Market Expansion
  • Drive B2B sales across global markets with a focus on biometric solutions
  • Identify and develop new international buyer relationships
  • Customize proposals and pricing strategies for regional compliance and buyer needs
  • Trade Strategy & Compliance
  • Formulate and execute trade strategies aligned with India’s Foreign Trade Policy (FTP)
  • Ensure compliance with DGFT licensing, HS code classification, and customs documentation
  • Coordinate with EPCs, EXIM banks, and trade bodies for incentives and schemes
  • Export Operations & Documentation
  • Oversee end-to-end export logistics including packaging, insurance, and freight
  • Manage documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and e-SANCHIT uploads
  • Liaise with CHA, customs officials, and port authorities for smooth clearance
  • Risk Management & Legal Adherence
  • Monitor trade risks including sanctions, embargoes, and regulatory shifts
  • Ensure compliance with GST on exports, LUT filings, and refund claims
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and logistics teams to streamline global order fulfillment
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and government reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in International Business, Trade, or related field
  • 2+ years in international sales and trade operations
  • Strong knowledge of India’s FTP, DGFT procedures, and customs laws
  • Experience with biometric or tech products preferred
  • Proficiency in export documentation and ERP systems
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
