Internal Auditor

Job Summary:

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for ensuring effective internal controls, risk management, and compliance within the finance company. The role involves reviewing operations related to deposits, loans, chitty, gold loans, and investment products, while identifying gaps, preventing fraud, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits for branches and head office functions covering FD, RD, chitty, loans, gold loans, and investment products.
• Review accounting, operational, and financial processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements (RBI/Cooperative Act, etc. as applicable).
• Identify risks, control gaps, and process weaknesses, and recommend corrective measures.
• Ensure branch-level operations (cash handling, customer documents, loan disbursement, collections, etc.) follow company guidelines.
• Prepare and present audit reports with observations and actionable recommendations.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely implementation.
• Assist in fraud detection, risk prevention, and strengthening internal controls.
• Support management in improving efficiency, compliance, and customer trust.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of finance company operations (FD, RD, loans, chitty, gold loans, shares).
• Understanding of internal audit standards, accounting principles, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Integrity, independence, and confidentiality in handling company information.
• Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel for branch audits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
