Job Title: Strategy & Operations Intern Location: Mumbai (In-Person, Full-Time) Duration: 6 Months Stipend: ₹15,000/month Start Date: Immediate requirement About The Mend At The Mend Packaging, we work at the intersection of sustainability, design, and innovation to create future-proof packaging solutions for brands across sectors. We help brands reimagine their packaging systems—from structural design to material sourcing—through a process that is insight-driven, human-centered, and operationally sound. About the Role We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Intern to support driving strategic initiatives and implementing operational improvements across the organisation. This is a high-exposure role ideal for candidates who are analytical, proactive, and excited to work at the heart of a fast-growing packaging startup. Key Responsibilities ● Assist the Chief of Staff in: ○ Tracking and developing internal strategy frameworks ○ Monitoring KRAs and OKRs across business verticals ○ Drafting reports, decks, and operational playbooks ● Support process optimisation efforts across Sales, Design, and Production teams ● Collaborate with the operations team on: ○ Vendor onboarding and documentation ○ CRM hygiene and data organisation ○ Order lifecycle tracking and production coordination ● Participate in development of internal case studies and post-project reviews ● Assist in day-to-day project handling, team communication, and cross-functional tasks What We’re Looking For ● A recent graduate in business, economics, engineering, design strategy, or related fields (less than 1 year of experience) ● Strong interest in operations, strategy, systems thinking, or consulting ● Excellent written and verbal communication ● Proficiency in tools like Google Sheets, MS toolkit, CRM platforms is a plus ● Ability to work independently and handle multiple workstreams Work Setup ● This is a full-time, in-person role based out of our Mumbai office ● Monday to Friday work week (with alternate Saturdays wfh) Why Join Us? ● High-ownership learning environment with mentorship from the leadership team ● Cross-functional exposure across strategy, sustainability, operations, and client work ● Hands-on experience in driving meaningful change within a fast-paced company Interested candidates can apply by sending their CV and a short note on why this role interests them to naveen@themendpackaging.com & founders@themendpackaging.com .
