From initial design concepts and in-house fabric manufacturing to expert fabrication, meticulous site management, precise measurements, and final installation, we ensure every detail aligns seamlessly with contemporary aesthetics. In addition to our furnishing offerings, we operate as a specialized Design Consultancy firm, leveraging our industry knowledge for brand development and strategic expansion.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Intern in Home Furnishings located in New Delhi. The intern will assist with day-to-day tasks including supporting the design team, managing fabric inventories, coordinating with suppliers, assisting with site measurements, and ensuring the quality of installations. The role will also involve research on market trends, contributing to design concepts, and participating in client meetings to understand and deliver project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the end-to-end execution of buyer orders – from designing the samples to final dispatch.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams to develop and finalize product samples (Bedspread ,Quilts & cushions, curtains, Duvet, etc.).
  • Maintain product development timelines and ensure samples are prepared and sent as per buyer schedules.
  • Follow up with suppliers, production units, and internal teams for timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain records of buyer communications, tech packs, product specifications, and approvals.
  • Prepare costing sheets and quotations in coordination with the merchandiser and directors.
  • Assist in creating product presentations and catalogs for buyers.
  • Monitor quality standards during production and flag potential issues proactively.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation for projects (e.g., invoices, packing lists, shipment tracking, delivery, installation).
  • Stay updated with current home furnishing trends, materials, and market preferences.


Qualifications

  • PBachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Design, Merchandising, Fashion Management, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in home furnishings, textiles, or apparel merchandising.
  • Knowledge of textiles, fabrics, basic printing/embroidery techniques is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Hands on Photoshop, Illustrator or Procreate and other Adobe tools to refine patterns and textures.
  • Basic understanding of export documentation is advantageous.
  • A team player with good multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel locally to vendors/suppliers if required.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
