Covermatch.com is a leading digital insurance comparison platform and insurance brokerage with operations across the UAE and India. We work with top insurance companies and offer a wide range of products including Health Insurance, Motor Insurance, Travel Insurance, Property Insurance, and Life Insurance.

We are expanding our Underwriting & Operations Team in Kochi and are hiring a Junior Underwriter to support our insurance processing and risk evaluation functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess insurance proposals for Motor, Health, and General Insurance.
• Analyze risk factors and supporting documents to assist in accurate underwriting decisions.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, sales teams, and processing executives for quotations and approvals.
• Support in policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate underwriting data, reports, and MIS on a regular basis.
• Ensure smooth workflow between underwriting, sales, and processing teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 1–4 years of experience in underwriting, insurance operations, or claims.
• Knowledge of Motor, Health, and General Insurance products.
• Proficiency in MS Office / Excel and experience using CRM or ERP tools (like Odoo).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
