Insurance Underwriter

As an Underwriter (Non-EB) at our company, your role will involve assessing risks, analyzing data, and determining appropriate insurance coverage and premiums. Your strong mathematical, statistical, and IT skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities, will be key in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Collect background information and conduct risk assessments. - Analyze statistical data using specialized software. - Prepare and write insurance quotes, negotiating terms with brokers and clients. - Determine insurance premiums based on risk analysis. - Draft policy wording and prepare insurance policy terms and conditions. - Collaborate with insurance brokers and customers to ensure smooth policy issuance and management. Key Skills & Requirements: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in mathematics and statistics. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Good IT skills and familiarity with underwriting software. - Sound judgment in risk assessment. - Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
