About the Role


We are seeking a highly seasoned and results-driven professional to lead our Institutional Sales efforts, with a primary focus on securing project approvals and orders from major Central Government Ministries, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and key infrastructure agencies. The ideal candidate will possess deep sector-specific experience, an extensive network, and a proven track record in navigating the complex regulatory and procurement landscapes of large-scale government projects.


The role involves leading the Institutional Sales efforts, focusing on government and PSU business development, and managing key accounts to secure large-scale contracts and project approvals.



Responsibilities



  • Government & PSU Business Development:

    Identify, pursue, and secure large-scale contracts and project approvals from target government bodies and PSUs.
  • Target Account Management:

    Directly handle and drive sales/approval processes for projects related to:


  • Rail/Metro: DMRC, Railway Board, RVNL
  • Highways/Infrastructure: NHAI
  • Construction/Civil Works: CPWD
  • Energy/Oil & Gas: NTPC, IOCL, EIL
  • Defense: Ministry of Defense (MES and DRDO)


  • Government Liaoning & Approvals:

    Establish and maintain strong, strategic relationships with senior officials across relevant Central Government Ministries to ensure timely project approvals, specification-listing, and policy-level advocacy.


  • Strategic Planning:

    Develop and execute comprehensive institutional sales strategies, market entry plans, and pricing strategies tailored for the government sector.


  • Team Leadership:

    Potentially build and mentor a specialized team focused on government project execution and compliance (depending on the final designation).



Qualifications



  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Institutional Sales, Government/Key Account Management, or Corporate Affairs/Liaosioning.
  • Industry Expertise (Mandatory): Must have significant, demonstrated experience within the Building Material, Ready Mix Concrete (RMC), and/or Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Structure industry.
  • Network: An established, proven network and successful liasioning experience with relevant Central Government Ministries and target PSUs (as listed above).




Preferred Skills



  • A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
